Attacks on a number of homes in the Creggan area of Derry, including that of a 74-yeear-old, have been described as “absolutely disgraceful.”
Windows were smashed during incidents which occurred last night.
The pensioner’s home in Rinmore Drive and that of a member of the steering group of the Rinmore Drive and Ceggan Heights Residents Group (RDACHRG) were among those targeted.
Anna Fisher, of RDACHRG, said they were “absolutely disgusted” by the attacks.
She described the attacks as “totally disgraceful.”
She added: “I can’t understand such behaviour.
“Is it because we are an independent residents’ group that this is happening and that we speak our minds?
She concluded: “It won’t deter any of us.”
Sinn Féin Councillor Kevin Campbell has condemned the attacks.
He said: "These attacks are wrong and I utterly condemn them.
"Everyone should have the right to live free from fear of intimidation or attack in their own home.”
Cllr Campbell concluded: "I would call on anyone with information on these incidents to bring it forward to the PSNI."
