Residents staged a walk through Creggan estate in Derry tonight in protest at anti-social behaviour in the area.

The walk followed the saying for the Rosary for peace on the estate.

Organisers, the Rinmore Drive and Creggan Heights Residents Group, say they are inspired by similar initiatives in the Ballymagroarty and Galliagh areas of the city were organisers claim they are winning the battle against anti-social behaviour.

The group stress the initiative is non-political and that the saying say prayers will continue nightly at the grotto on Creggan Heights while it is hoped the walk will become a weekly occurrence.
