Members of the public are being urged to attend a rally being held this afternoon in support of a much-used resource centre which has been targeted by petrol bombers of two occasions this week.
Dove House in the Bogside has been attacked on numerous occasions in recent years but this week’s incidents are among the most serious.
Petrol bombs were thrown at the building last night and on Tuesday night last.
A rally of support will take place at 3.00pm this afternoon.
A spokesperson for Dove House said: “In light of the recent attacks on Dove House we are calling for the community to come together and stand with us today and show those responsible for the attacks that this is not wanted.
“Three o’clock today outside Dove House is your chance to show us that you support the hard work that we do for the betterment of the entire community.
“We are calling on residents, community groups and community representatives to show their support for us today.”
