A rally in support of a seriously-ill Palestinian hunger striker will be held in Derry this evening.
Bilal Kayed (pictured) was moved into an intensive care unit at the weekend – today marks his 69th day on hunger strike.
He began his protest in an Israeli jail against being held without trial or charges under what the Israeli authorities term 'Administrative Detention'.
Tonight’s rally, being organised by Sinn Fein Republican Youth, will take place at the hunger strike memorial on Rossville Street at 7.30pm.
