A Derry couple shunned presents for their 60th wedding anniversary so they could help a life-saving charity.
Matt and Hilda McColgan are pictured presenting Trόcaire’s Roisin O’Hara with a cheque for £1,500 towards the charity’s work.
The big-hearted couple from the Bogside recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends and asked for donations to Trόcaire instead of gifts.
The money will be used to help support people in some of the poorest countries across the world.
