Former Derry City forward Michael Duffy has withdrawn from the Northern Ireland squad ahead of this Sunday’s World Cup qualifier against the Czech Republic.
The 22-year-old (pictured), currently on loan at Dundee from Glasgow Celtic, has suffered a recurrence of a hip injury.
He is currently flying back to Scotland to undergo a scan this afternoon.
The winger, who joined Celtic in February last year, is said to be “gutted” having been called up to the senior international squad for the first time.
