Police are hoping that everyone has an enjoyable and safe night at the big MTV concert in Derry today.
The PSNI held a briefing session this afternoon ahead of the gig.
Club MTV returns to Derry this weekend with Dutch DJ Martin Garrix headlining the event.
Garrix (pictured) has become one of electronic dance music’s youngest stars, amassing a chart-topping, high-streaming musical legacy along the way.
He also picked up an award for ‘Best Electronic Act’ at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2015 and is best known for his track ‘Animals.’
Example has become a household name following chart success and high-profile festival performances.
Event promoters, Legacy Promotions, have urged people to plan their journeys in advance.
Thousands are expected to attend and there will be a number of 'no parking' restrictions in place around Ebrington.
There will be two entry points to the site, one via the Peace Bridge and the other on St. Columb's Road.
Punters have been warned that queuing may take up to one hour at peak times.
Search procedures will be in operation and prohibited items will be confiscated.
These include: food, drink, chairs, umbrellas, flags, flares, any illegal substances and glass.
Wearing of sports tops and political emblems is also prohibited.
Each person is allowed to take up to 500ml of water into the site, as long as it's in a plastic bottle with an unbroken seal.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
