Derry City fans will get the opportunity to meet face-to-face the club’s management team at an event being held in the city tonight.

Manager Kenny Shiels, club chairman Philip O’Doherty, secretary Sean Barrett and the club’s commercial and marketing manager Orlaith Meenan will be attendance at the Fans’ Forum being held in Da Vinci’s Hotel from 6.30pm.

The meeting has been arranged to give fans the opportunity to address any concerns they may have coming towards the end of the current season.

Ms Meenan said the event was an open invitation to the community and was part of a process which kept the club in constant touch with its fanbase.

She said: “The team are playing very well at the minute and we’re entering a very exciting stage of the season.

“We are all hoping that we can end the season on a high and the supporters of the club can play a big part in helping us achieve our goals.

“Derry City supporters are the lifeline of the club, and they have been right behind us so far this season, which I know Kenny Shiels and the players are grateful for.

“However, we are also aware that some fans do have some concerns about certain subjects so we decided, as a club, to give the supporters the opportunities to reach out to us directly. This fans’ forum is open to everyone, and we look forward to addressing any questions which the supporters might have.”
