A 19-year-old man has been charged after an attempted armed robbery at a shop in Derry.
The incident happened at the premises at Strand Road around 7.30am on Saturday.
The teenager has been charged with a number of offences including attempted robbery.
He is due to appear at Derry Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Detective Constable Rebecca Neill would appeal to anyone who has any information about this incident to contact Detectives at Reactive and Organised Crime, Strand Road on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 346 24/09/16.
