A unqiue exhibition based on the theme of torture will open in Derry next month.
‘Torture’ by controversial American artist Andres Serrano will open at the Void gallery on Saturday week, October 8.
The exhibition features photographs of models in various state of torture.
It includes ‘The Hooded Men,’ a series of four images of the 'Hooded Men' who were subjected to torture in Northern Ireland in 1971.
Serrano’s work has continually sparked controversy wherever it has been shown around the world.
The Void exhibition will be the first time that his work has been on show in Ireland.
The exhibition will be launched at 7.30pm on Saturday, October 8.
Prior to the launch, Serrano will speak about the exhibition at 6.30pm.
