Halloween at The Playhouse…Grimm Tales 2: Electric Book-aloo!

Grimm is back - and this time he’s battling a wicked spell in electric book!

Can the audience help save his favourite scary stories?

Everyone’s favourite Halloween storyteller will return in an all new adventure with even more story telling mayhem at The Playhouse in Derry this Halloween.

The brand new instalment of fairy tales, scary stories, ugly princesses, laughter, and squelchy things will run at the Artillery Street theatre from Thursday 27 to Monday 31 October.

Written by Peter ‘Eerie’ Davidson and directed by Kieran ‘Spooky’ Griffiths, The Playhouse sequel production sees Grimm in a new sing a long adventure for kids of all ages.

But, unfortunately, a wicked spell brings the computer to life and it's up to Grimm, with the help from the audience, to save the day and rescue all his favourite tales!

“There'll be even more water pistols, cake fights, explosions, sing a longs, and anarchy!” director Kieran Griffiths said.

“The original Grimm tale opened in Halloween 2014, The Playhouse’s first ever piece of Children’s Theatre, and we’re so pleased that the show has grown and grown, along with the size of the bath tub full of sweets!”

The Playhouse production of ‘Grimm Tales 2: Electric Book-aloo!’ will run from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 October at 7,.00pm with matinees from Saturday 29 to Monday 31 October at 1,00pm.

Family tickets are four for £30 or £10 each (includes £1 development donation). Group rates available.
