Hit TV show Britain’s Got Talent will hold two auditions in Derry next week.
The auditions will be held in Foyleside Shopping Centre and the Skeoge Arts Hub on Wednesday, October 19.
Anyone with a special talent, from singing to dancing dogs, is invited to come along in a bid to impress the judges and maybe make it on to the show.
The Foyleside auditions will be held from 11.30am to 5.30pm.
The judges will then move to the Skeoge Arts Hub where the auditions start at 6.30pm.
Anyone lucky enough to get through will be following in the footsteps of Derry singer Jordan O’Keefe who made it all the way to the finals a few years ago.
It’s understood that after watching film footage of the Greater Shantallow Community Arts’ ‘Talent North West’ finals in the last two years, Britain’s Got Talent’s producers want to view some local acts.
Ollie Green, from Skeoge Arts Hub, said he hoped the judges would be impressed by the local talent.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for our many talented individuals out there to come along and impress the BGT panel and hopefully, get a chance to perform in the show itself,” he said.
“This is a stepping stone to having an opportunity to audition in front of judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Amanda Holden.

“The format of the show encourages people with a variety of talents to apply to take part.”
Britain’s Got Talent Executive Producer, Amelia Brown, said: “We’ve had some amazing winners over the last ten series, from this year’s champion Richard Jones, who was the first magician to ever win the show, right through to Paul Potts, Diversity and Collabro.
“We can’t wait to see what talent your town has to offer.
“Anyone can apply - there is no age limit and we are looking for all kinds of talents, so if you feel you have something special to show us then make sure you apply, you never know where it might take you.”
