A Donegal man has told a shocking story in the famous 'red chair' on the BBC's Graham Norton Show.

When introducing himself on last night's show, the man described himself as Sean from Donegal.

The 'red chair' section of the show gives people the chance to tell host Norton and his guests about an unusual episode in their lives.

Sean (pictured above) said he had been at a wedding when the groom got up to speak at the reception.

He asked all the guests in the room to stand.

The groom then asked everyone to turn over their plates to see if there was a red dot on the bottom.

He asked all those who had found a red dot to remain standing while everyone else sat down.

The groom then asked everyone to look at the eight men still standing, and told the guests that his new wife had slept with all eight of them since they had got engaged.

The man then said he was going to get an annulment and walked out of the room.
