A man who threw a cigarette butt out of his car window was today fined £125 at Derry Magistrates Court.
Darrell Ireland, of Bovevagh Road in Dungiven, discarded the rubbish in front of a litter warden at Cresent Link Retail Park in Derry on August 8 last year.
He was also ordered to pay £50 legal costs and £38 court costs and a £15 offender levy.
