The Education Authority have confirmed that information relating to pre-school placements for September 2018 in Derry will be published later this month.
An Education Authority spokesperson said: "On Wednesday 29 November 2017 information will be published about applying for a funded pre-school place/primary one place in September 2018.
"The admissions criteria for each pre-school/primary school will be available to view or download at this time.
"Application forms will also be available for download and will need to be returned to the first preference pre-school/primary school by 12 noon on 10 January 2018."
