A Derry school will next week host a special exhibition of landscape paintings commissioned by local artist Mr. Danny McGilloway.
The exhibition entitled ‘The Whispering Light’ includes more than 18 original paintings of local landscapes in Derry, Donegal and Antrim. Danny’s work is well known amongst his local community and beyond with previous exhibits such as ‘The Wild Child’ which took place last year in the Pilot’s Row Centre being greatly received.
The launch night for the exhibition will take place in the school next Thursday 16th November beginning at 7pm. The paintings can be further viewed each school day from 2.30pm-3.30pm until Wednesday 29th November when the exhibition will close.
Nazareth House Primary School Principal Mr. Antoin Moran said: "The school is proud to be associated with this exciting venture and we hope to welcome as many people as possible to this free community event."
