Derry public encouraged to give gift of local music this Christmas

‘Tis the season to be jolly, so why not give the gift of local music this year.

Local entertainment website Derry Live List have teamed up with Voluntary Arts Ireland and the collaborative group Derry Creatives to create a Christmas campaign with a difference, and the first of its kind.

‘12 Days of Christmas - Give the gift of Local Music this Year’ aims to highlight the wealth of incredible talent our city possesses and promote the original music scene we are fortunate to have right here on our doorstep.

The campaign will begin on Friday December 1st and for 12 days, one local act will be promoted extensively each day. Through a social media and online campaign consisting of interviews, music videos and an incredible bumper competition which is up for grabs, the message will be to support local music and consider giving the gift of music this year.

Consisting of 12 well known professional artists, the campaign features those who have released tracks throughout 2017 and have a range of merchandise available to purchase over the festive season.

You can get involved with the 12 Days of Christmas by following the campaign through http://bit.ly/12DaysXmasDLL, through the Derry Live List, Voluntary Arts Ireland and #DERRYcreatives Facebook pages and also on Twitter using the hashtags #musicNXNW and also #12DaysXmasDL.
