Sinn Fein representatives met with the Consumer Council today to discuss the potential closure of a number of post offices in Derry.
Foyle MP Elisha McCallion and local councillor Michael Cooper have said that they will have an update on the status of the post officers at Park Avenue and The Diamond in the next 48 hours,
A Sinn Fein spokesperson said: "This morning Elisha McCallion and councillor Michael Cooper met with the Consumer Council to discuss a number of concerns regarding local post offices.
"We will update within the next 48hrs with the current state of play in relation to the offices at Park Avenue and the Diamond."
