A 35-year-old man is due to appear at Derry Magistrates Court this morning charged with the attempted murder of police officers and possession of explosives with intent to endanger life.
The charges relate to an incident in Eglinton on 15 June last year when a bomb was discovered under a car outside the home of two serving police officers.
Five people were arrested within a week of the incident, all of whom were released without charge.
