Derry police have urged local motorists to take care on the roads due to the adverse weather conditions.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Please exercise extreme caution when driving today. We are dealing with several collisions due to the treacherous road conditions throughout the district.
"Numerous reports of black ice in the district. Please SLOW DOWN and increase your braking distances."
