Two Derry sisters have been reunited with their showband idol after 50 years.
Anne, Siobhan and Nuala Davis, daughters of the well-known sporting figure Eddie Davis, first met Dickie Rock in a dance hall in the city in 1967.
The moment was captured in a photograph which they have always treasured.
Sadly, Nuala has since passed away but Anne and Siobhan recently met Dickie again and posed for a second snap.
They were joined by their friend Geraldine who recently flew home from England for the recording of TG4’s successful country music show Opry Doire.
The reunion will feature in the show which was recorded in the Millennium Forum.
It will be screened on TG4 at 9.30pm on Tuesday.
