Substantial quantities of drugs were seized in a major police operation in Derry over the weekend, police in the city have revealed.
A number of homes were searched and four people arrested in what the PSNI have described as an “operation into the misuse of drugs” in the Galliagh and Shantallow areas of the city.
Confirming substantial quantities of Class C drugs were seized, the spokesperson said four people had been charged in connection with the seizures with two of them being remanded in custom.
