New Derry-based sitcom 'Derry Girls' is officially a hit with a debut audience of 1.6m viewers.
Channel 4 described the audience figure as 'fantastic'.
Early reviews of the show have been extremely positive with only a few dissenting voices.
The show follows 16-year-old Erin Quinn and her friends as they grow up in early 90's Derry towards the tail end of the Troubles.
