Seretary of State for Northern Ireland James Brokenshire has resigned from his position.
It is believed Mr Brokenshire has resigned for health reasons.
He has held the position since 2016 when he replaced Theresa Villiers in a cabinet re-shuffle.
The new Secretary of State will inherit the task of trying to restore power-sharing at Stormont.
They are expected to be named later today as Prime Minister Theresa May re-shapes her cabinet.
