Why is Derry's new transport hub named after river and not city, campaigners ask

Derry's rail lobby group Into the West tonight queried the apparent decision not to name the new Waterside transport hub after the city.

Campaigners tonight published a picture of a model of the new hub and the sign at the entrance reads 'Foyle Train Station'.

They say that Translink are naming the station 'after a river rather than the city passengers might be arriving at or departing from'.
