A single traffic lane closure will be in place on Shipquay Street on Sunday, March 4 between 6am and 4pm to facilitate the laying of a water main for an ongoing development project in the area.
The information was issued by the City Centre Initiative (CCI) who said that there will also be parking restrictions in place.
"Pedestrian access will be available to businesses at all times, although there will be some parking restrictions in the vicinity of the works," a CCI spokesperson said.
"Please be aware that construction sites are dangerous areas for unauthorised persons.
"Working areas will have warning signs in place to protect the public from any hazards.
"The public are advised to stay out of these working areas for their own safety."
