Car set on fire in Ballyarnett - expect delays and disruption to bus service

Derry councillor Caoimhe McKnight this morning warned drivers to expect delays on a border road close, after a car was set on fire overnight.
The Sinn Fein representative said: "Anyone travelling along the Beragh Hill Road in the next couple of hours please be careful. Anti-community behaviour has meant that this road is dangerous to travel on.

"There will also be disruption to the bus service that runs along this road so any one that depends on the bus for getting about will now have to seek alternative travel arrangements.

"This is disgraceful behaviour and should not be happening in our community."

Ms  McKnight says Council have been informed and are going to liaise with the PSNI to have the car removed as soon as possible.
