The appointment of a contractor to complete the £220million dualling scheme on the A6 Dungiven to Drumahoe road has been welcomed by the Londonderry Chamber of Commerce President, Jennifer McKeever.
Ms McKeever said:“Improvement to our infrastructure in the North West has never been more important, it will make it easier for us to reach our customers, our staff and our visitors.
“It plays a crucial role in the development of the tourism offering here in the city and will reduce the cost of doing business.
“It is a long-awaited piece of our infrastructure picture and I’m sure will be welcomed right across the business community."
