A Derry councillor has advised caution in the Glen field area following a report of a woman and her dog being attacked by a stray dog in the area.
SDLP Councillor Shauna Cusack posted on her Facebook page: "A lady and her dog just attacked in the Glen field by a medium sized white/grey dog, breed unknown, she's in A&E with injuries to her hand and legs.
"Please report if you see a stray dog fitting this description and anyone with info please get in touch. Wardens Advised."
