A 49-year-old man charged with assaulting a female has been granted bail at Derry Magistrate’s Court.
Noel Wylie, of Broighter Court in the city, has been charged with twice threatening to kill a female, common assault and assaulting a police officer on April 9 of this year.
On Monday, April 30, the defendant was granted bail of £500 at the city’s Magistrates Court.
He will have a curfew of 9pm-8am, must present at his front door if required, is prohibited from contacting the alleged injured party, has been banned from entering John Street, Carlisle Road or Bridge Street.
Wylie was also ordered not to enter licensed premises, has been prohibited from consuming alcohol or any non-prescribed drugs and must reside at a bail address in Bridgeford Meadows, Portadown.
The 49-year-old will appear at a court sitting again on May 24.
