DRAMA - 'Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story' to visit Derry

Derry is only one of two locations in the North where audiences will be able to see the Edinburgh Fringe smash musical hit  this year. 'Thrill Me' will play at the Waterside Theatre on June 9, after completing a tour of Korea.
Chicago, 1924. A shocking true story of two aspiring rich kids who kidnapped and murdered a 14 year-old boy in their desire to commit the perfect crime. An obsessive relationship which exploded into violence and, with the eyes of the world on their trial, they narrowly escaped the death penalty.
Electrifying winner of the prestigious Broadway Baby ‘Bobby’ award and nominated for numerous awards including 7 Off-West End Stage Awards and ‘Best Off-West End Production’ by WhatsOnStage.com, Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story has been captivating audiences since 2003. These true events were the basis for Never the Sinner, Compulsion, Swoon and were the inspiration for Patrick Hamilton's Rope, later made into the famous film thriller by Alfred Hitchcock.
Following universal acclaim at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and with a host of 5-star reviews, the smash hit musical heads to Korea prior to a UK and Northern Ireland tour. Premiering at the Busan International Arts Centre, Korea, in May Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story plays the Waterside Theatre on Saturday 9 June before returning to London.
