The runner who died during this week's Belfast Marathon was from County Derry, police have confirmed today.
The man was 50-year-old Stephen Heaney from Limavady.
The PSNI have also released a picture of Mr Heaney [above] which was taken on the morning of the marathon (Monday, May 7).
