On Wednesday night The Everglades Hotel will become a summer floral paradise as local award winning florist John Paul will hold a charity flower demonstration in support of “The Patrick Friel Curran Project”
Be in the audience and watch John Paul create beautiful floral arrangements themed around his title “Sun Dance”.
You’ll be wowed and inspired with ideas for decorating your home with flowers for the coming summer months. You’ll also have a chance to win the arrangements that John Paul makes as they will all be raffled on the night.
The night has been organised to help raise funds for local charity the Patrick Friel Curran Project which helps repatriate people from Derry and surrounding areas as well as completing humanitarian work in third world countries.
John Paul who is well known as a florist and designer is personally connected to the current work of the charity.
He explains: “My sister Helena is currently volunteering with the charity and will be travelling to Kenya to help with their humanitarian work with the local street children and helping to complete building work on a new classroom for them so I was keen to lend my support with fundraising.”
The flower demonstration is Wednesday 16th May starting at 7:30pm in the Everglades Hotel, with doors open from 7pm.
Tickets are £10 with all the profits going to support The Patrick Friel Curran Project. There will be also be a raffle, refreshments and bake sale on the night as well as the fantastic floral creations.
