The PSNI have released details of a car crash in the Springtown industrial estate yesterday, Monday, May 28.
At approximately 10.00am police signalled to the driver of a car, understood to be a blue Ford Focus, to pull over on the Springtown Road, Derry, however the driver failed to do so.
As the vehicle made off from the police it collided with another vehicle and left the scene.
Inspector Ali said “Police would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident to contact Police at Strand Road on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 384 28/05/18.”
The vehicle was not being pursued when it made off from police.
