Leeds United and Ireland footballer Eunan O’Kane called into St Mary’s College Clady to spend the morning with the pupils from Year 10 and 8.
Eunan took part in a question and answer session with Year 10 pupils where he shared his experiences of his professional career and how his life has changed since he left his roots in Banagher.
Afterwards the Year 8 pupils participated in a short practical soccer skills.
The Derry man signed autographs with some pupils having their Ireland jerseys ready for his prize signature.
The pupils all had a fantastic day and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
"The school was very grateful to Eunan for taking time out of his busy schedule to spend with the pupils giving them a very special memory indeed," a school spokeperson said.
