Celebrity chef Nick Nairn is to appear at Foyle Maritime Festival in Derry this summer.
‘Flavours of the Foyle’ Seafood Kitchen and Seafood Trail are two of the highlights of this year’s Foyle Maritime Festival which runs from July 14th to July 22nd 2018.
Jennifer O’Donnell, Tourism Manager, Derry City and Strabane District Council, said: “The success of the Foyle Maritime Festival has emphasised the importance of our river to the city and the North West. Again we are using the river in order to boost the region as a leading food destination with the return of Flavours of the Foyle where the Seafood Kitchen will showcase celebrity and local chefs who have created locally sourced fish dishes inspired by the River Foyle fitting in with our theme ‘Caught here not Bought Here’.”
Another one of the big highlights of the Festival will be the Flavours of the Foyle Seafood Trail running from July 14th – 22nd. Featuring award winning restaurants across the city and district, foodies will be offered a range of bespoke dishes celebrating the range of fresh seafood on offer, catering for all tastes and budgets. With so much to choose from, you might want to try a new dish and location every night!
