A fire has been set at an area of waste ground in the Lecky Road area of Derry.
The blaze erupted at empty premises at Meenan Square, which in recent years has been subject to vandalism and anti-social activity.
Motorists are asked to use caution due to thick black smoke coming onto the road and nearby flyover.
