A suspicious object which sparked a security alert in Co Derry late yesterday afternoon was “nothing untoward,” police have said.
The alert caused the closure of two roads.
The Feeny Road was closed at its junction with Rallagh Road while Glenedra Road was sealed off at its junction with Altinure Road.
They were reopened late last night after British army technical officers examined the object and declared it was nothing untoward.
