Members of the inspirational Hillsborough campaigners will be in Derry next week.

Ninety six Liverpool fans were crushed to death in 1989 during an FA Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Notts Forest.

After more than 27 years of campaigning, the families of the deceased recently finally won the battle to have their loved ones declared innocent of any blame for the disaster.

An inquest laid the blame for the Hillsborough deaths with the Sheffield police in charge of the ground that day.

Some of those involved in the families’ Hillborough campaign will be in Derry on Wednesday to discuss their fight for justice.

They are coming to the city following an invitation from the Bloody Sunday Trust.

The discussion will take place at An Culturlann at Great James Street at 7.30pm on Wednesday.
