A 20 year-old man has pleaded guilty to breaking in to Bellaghy Pharmacy and stealing prescription drugs.
Appearing before Magherafelt Magistrates’ Court this morning was Sean McKenna.
The defendant, whose address was given as Springfield Park, Bellaghy, admitted the charge of burglary which occurred on June 5 last year.
District Judge Alan White adjourned the matter for the purpose of a pre-sentence report.
Speaking directly to McKenna, District Judge Alan White said: “This is a very serious matter but I am prepared to take account of what is said in the report if you cooperate with probation.”
The defendant will appear back before court for sentencing on May 18.
