A new film about the River Foyle will receive its world premiere in Italy next week.
The film, which is called ‘TIDES - A History of Lives and Dreams Lost and Found (Some broken)’, will have its world premiere at the Sole Luna Film Festival in Palermo on Tuesday.
The film is described as a celebration of the river Foyle, its history, its past and new stories that have lived above and under its water.
Supported by Northern Ireland Screen and The Italian Cultural Institute of Edinburgh, the film is written and directed by Alessandro Negrini, director of the award-winning documentary ‘Paradiso’.
