Police are appealing for information following a number of thefts in the Draperstown area of Co Derry which occurred sometime between the evening of Tuesday 14 June and the morning of Wednesday 15 June.

A child’s motorised car, a hoover and a blaster were stolen from a shed at one house while a stereo was taken from a car at another premises and a wallet was stolen from a vehicle at a third property.

Damage was also caused to a car at a house in the area in the early hours of Sunday 12 June which is believed to have happened after an attempt was made to open the locked driver’s door.

All the incidents occurred in the Dromdallagan area.

Constable Shields said: “I would ask anyone with any information about these incidents, or who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously, to contact Magherafelt Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 169 of 15/06/16.

“Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
