The Stormont Executive is currently planning for the next five years - the members of the DiverseCity Community Partnership want you to be part of this process.
To this end, on Wednesday next, 6 July, from 5.30pm to 8.00pm, a number of member groups of the DiverseCity Community Partnership will be holding a City Centre Forum on the Draft Programme for Government Framework 2016-21.
The event will take place at the Holywell -DiverseCity Community Partnership building,Bishop Street, in Derry..
Gerard Deane from Holywell Trust said “If you would like to help us to shape what government should be delivering in the North West over the next 5 years then please come along and let us know what you think. We want local people to help us propose a number of programmes that the NI Executive should be delivering in our city - how the money should be targeted.”
At the evening session participants will hear from Joe Reynolds (The Executive Office - formerly Office of First Minister and Deputy First Minster) and Rachael Craig (Derry City & Strabane District Council).
Mr Deane added: “Holywell Trust and our partners would love to hear from as many people as possible to help inform our submission. A strong submission will help to shape planning and delivery of services to the North West for the next 5 years.”
Your input at the Forum will be used to help to shape the DiverseCity Community Partnership’s joint response to the document and arriving at a series of recommended actions/programmes for inclusion in the Government's new work programme.
The event is being organised by Holywell Trust, Foyle Women's Information Network, North West Community Network and The Junction.
A light dinner will be available for participants from 5.30pm.
