Derry City fans to show appreciation to Euro 2016 stars: McClean and Ferguson at Brandywell tonight

Derry City fans will get the opportunity tonight to show their appreciation to two local players who played in the European Championship Finals in France.

Former Derry City players – James McClean and Niall McGinn and Derry men Shane Duffy and Shane Ferguson - were involved with both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland squads.

McClean and Ferguson will be paraded on the pitch at half-time during Derry City’s Airtricity Pemier Division clash with Dundalk at Brandywell tonight (kick off 7.45pm).

A club spokesperson said: “So come and welcome them home and help them cheer on the Red and White Army.

“The people of Derry painted the town green and white during the Euro’s, it’s now time to paint it red and white!”
