The hunt is on for a mystery man who stunned shoppers at a Derry shopping centre when he began throwing large bundles of cash around.
Today’s Derry News reveals the bizarre incident, which is being investigated by the PSNI, happened at Foyleside Shopping Centre on Tuesday afternoon.
According to eyewitnesses, the man entered the store and began throwing money up in the air.
He also threw a bundle of cash, believed to be around £400, over a railing on the top floor of thecentre.
The cash landed in front of an employee on the bottom floor.
Bystanders have also claimed that the man then began handing over £20 notes to people in the city, before giving a large amount of cash, understood to be £500, to a passing family.
