Police in Magherafelt are appealing for information following a theft from outside a church in St Patrick’s Street, Draperstown.
Constable G Nicholl said: “It was reported that sometime around 5.30pm on Friday, June 17 items were stolen from a vehicle which was parked beside the graveyard.
“I am appealing for anyone with information or who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to contact Police at Magherafelt on 101 quoting reference number 509 of 09/07/16
“Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
This is the second such incident to take place in the area within a matter of days. On Wednesday a car was broken into while parked outside St Columba’s Church, Straw.
