Two men were arrested in Derry last night after a car was observed being driven dangerously around the city.
The PSNI said the police helicopter was deployed when the vehicle was abandoned and the occupants made off.
A police spokesperson said: “With help from our helicopter, officers from Foyleside and The Moor Neighbourhood Policing Team and Local Policing Team were able to locate and arrest two people for a number of driving offences.”
“There is no place for this kind of reckless behaviour in our community.”
