A walk and prayers for peace in Creggan will take place tonight.
It follows attacks on homes in the area, including that of a 74-year-old woman who had windows smashed in her Rinmore Drive home on Sunday night.
A house at nearby Creggan Heights was also targeted.
There has been concern in recent weeks about the level of anti-social behaviour on the estate.
Tonight’s walk will take place following the saying of the Holy Rosary at the grotto (pictured) at Creggan Heights at 6.30pm...
Rinmore Drive and Creggan Residents Group (RDACRG) said the prayers were for “peace in our estate.”
Spokesperson Anna Fisher said: “Residents are asking everyone of all ages and especially families to come for the Holy Rosary.
“Afterwards, it is hoped that there will be a short dignified walk for all of our residents ending at the grotto again.”
She concluded: “This is not about politics and, as RDACHRG are not affiliated to any group, we stand alone and work with and for all. Together we're better.”
