A Dungiven woman who is accused of stealing £92,000 is to stand trial next month.
Geraldine O’Kane of Birren Road, appeared before a preliminary enquiry at Limavady Magistrates’ Court this morning.
O’Kane who is charged with 14 counts of theft, is alleged to have committed the offences on dates between February 2013 and February 2015.
The 47 year-old is also charged with false accounting, whereby she is alleged to have destroyed, defaced, concealed or falsified a certain account record, namely withdrawal cheques.
Court papers revealed that there are eight different alleged victims in the case including a local youth association.
During the short hearing, O’Kane confirmed that she understood the charges but declined to give evidence or call any witnesses.
