This week Derry City under-17s eased into the third round of the Mark Farren Memorial Cup with an emphatic 8-2 win over Salthill Devon at the Brandywell Showgrounds.
The FAI named the competition in memory of Derry's record goalscorer who passed away in February this year after a lengthy battle with a brain tumour. He was just 33.
In tribute, the Candy Stripes have retired his number 18 jersey while the new stand at the redeveloped Brandywell Stadium will be named after him.
The Donegal man played for City from 2003 to 2012, scoring 114 goals in 209 appearances.
Here are three of them, scored in a Setanta Cup clash with Linfield at Brandywell in October 2008.
